Team Managing

REN96 relies heavily on club volunteers to run their competitions and provide support for swimmers at away meets. The Team Manager role is critical to the club’s success. It offers real support to our swimmers during away trips and competitions, while ensuring a safe and controlled environment for them to participate within. Working closely with the competition coach the Team Manager ensures that all the club’s swimmers are prepared and sent to the marshalling area at the appropriate time to guaranteed their swim.

Team Management and Technical Official roles are also a great way to become involved especially if your son/daughter regularly attends competitions, being poolside makes a competition day pass much quicker. Both of these roles require some training which the club will provide. A sufficient number of suitably qualified officials and correct licence are required to qualify a meet for accreditation.
